To educate engineers and researchers committed to technological, economic and social development for the improvement and sustainable transformation of the country, through collaborative, inclusive, responsible, ethical and inspiring work, an example of leadership and entrepreneurship of all members of the academic community of the Faculty.

Vision

By the year 2025 the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad Nacional de Colombia will continue to be a benchmark for its commitment to research and the training of engineers with a collaborative, innovative, adaptive, critical and creative sense of teaching and learning; as well for its contribution to the construction of public policies to decrease social gaps with equity and a sense of country.
