The event presents recent advances in domain decomposition methods, scientific computing, and high-performance simulation. It brings together international researchers to foster collaboration, strengthen the community, and highlight the leadership of the National University of Colombia in applied mathematics, engineering, and computational science.

Objective

To provide a comprehensive forum for presenting and discussing recent advances in domain decomposition methods, numerical analysis, and high-performance scientific computing, fostering collaboration among researchers, strengthening the international community, and promoting the development of innovative computational techniques for solving large-scale mathematical and engineering problems.

To present cutting-edge research in domain decomposition methods, numerical analysis, and large-scale computational modeling.
To strengthen collaborative networks between national and international researchers in applied mathematics and engineering.
To promote the exchange of ideas, techniques, and computational tools for solving complex PDE-based problems.
To encourage the participation of students and early-career researchers in advanced scientific computing and HPC.
To foster university–industry collaboration by showcasing computational methods relevant to sectors such as energy, manufacturing, geosciences, environmental modeling, and engineering design.
To create opportunities for industry partners to engage with the academic community, explore joint research initiatives, and learn about state-of-the-art simulation and optimization technologies.
To highlight Colombia’s and UNAL’s role as a regional hub for innovation, computational science, and technological transfer.

Conference Format

DD30 will include all traditional components of Domain Decomposition Meetings:

Plenary Lectures (11): Delivered by internationally recognized experts selected by the DDM Scientific Committee.
Minisymposia: Organized around specialized topics by leading research groups.
Contributed Talks: Selected through peer review of submitted abstracts.
Poster Sessions: Dedicated sessions to promote student and young-researcher participation.
Presentation times will follow DDM norms (45 minutes for plenaries, 20–30 minutes for minisymposia and contributed talks)

Abstract Review

To accommodate travel planning and institutional funding cycles, DD30 will implement several acceptance cohorts:

Early Acceptance Round: For early submissions to support visa and travel processes.
Regular Acceptance Round: Standard review cycle.
Late Acceptance Round: Final window, subject to program capacity.

All abstracts will be evaluated for scientific merit by the Local Scientific Committee in coordination with the international committee.
