Candidate Profile

Aimed at professionals in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design or related branches that are interested in training as lighting systems designers and deepening the subject of lighting.


Graduate Profile

  • To develop projects and solutions for lighting systems and installations for indoor and outdoor use related to design, construction, operation, control and inspection.
  • Design, build, test and evaluate conformity of lighting system products and equipment leading to the certification and marketing process.
  • Design, manage and evaluate annual programs and lighting projects in their architectural, technical, financial and environmental components for the provision of public lighting services in municipalities.

OBJECTIVES

General objectives

  • To update the basic principles and concepts of lighting applied to the development of interior lighting and lighting projects in public spaces.
  • Train and update in the design of lighting projects based on the principles of rational use of energy, power quality and minimal environmental impact by waste and pollutants.
  • Train and update in the use and application of simulation tools, modeling calculation and verification of interior and exterior lighting system designs.
  • Develop experience in quality control testing of products and equipment applied in lighting systems.
  • To consolidate and integrate at national and international level the technical community with mastery in the area of lighting.
